Chair throwingChair

The result of the debate was Deleted. Redirecting to Knight is not appropriate as his action is not the only chair throwing incident and anyone searching for his will search by his name. Redirecting to temper tantrum is not appropriate as there are also chair throwing contests. There are a number of chair throwing mentions in Wikipedia articles; most of them rather minor. This term is better suited for the search function than disambiguation. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:55, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Temporal Integrity CommissionTrials and Tribble-ations

The result of the debate was Kept. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:56, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Temporal Integrity Commission is a fictional agency within the Star Trek Universe that enforces temporal policy and protects the timeline from being altered by time travels. However, it makes no sense to redirect this to Trials and Tribble-ations, an episode on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as a tribute to The Original Series. Recommending deletion of redirect. 1998 Afghanistan earthquakeMay 30, 1998 Afghanistan earthquake

The result of the debate was turned into dab page. (non-admin closure). Tohd8BohaithuGh1 (t·c·r) 23:40, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There wre two earthquake in Afghanistn in 1998 and so there are two articles May 30, 1998 Afghanistan earthquake and February 4, 1998 Afghanistan earthquake. What about the February earthquake? Redirecting 1998 Afghanistan earthquake to the May earthquake will be misleading. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 09:11, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

<span id="Presidential transition of Barack Obama " /

The result of the debate was 1, 2, & 6 were deleted by several different admins as CSD R3 (implausible typo). The others are closed as keep. They direct readers to where information on these topics is currently located. They can be redirected once articles on his presidency are written. -- JLaTondre (talk) 14:05, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Presidency of Barack H Obama II
  2. Barack Obama's first term as President of the United States‎
  3. Obama administration
  4. Obama Administration
  5. Obama Cabinet
  6. OBAMA CABINET
  7. Barack Obama Cabinet

Redirecting these pages to Presidential transition of Barack Obama implies that they are most relevant to that article. However, these article have little to do with the actual transition and are most applicable to Presidency of Barack Obama, whether it exists yet or not.
