  • Original uploader's statement of "i had it on my computer" doesn't tell us if they took the photo or have rights to it. A request has been on the uploader's talk page since November asking for a source. It has since been deleted from Commons on the grounds that it is not licenced correctly. Given it's a photo of a building I don't think we can use "fair use" because a free alternative is possible to create. It is also only linked to an article about the town, not the school specifically which again means it's unlikely to be "fair use" Cube00 (talk) 10:39, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • We are missing evidence of publication before 1926. If it was first published in 1927, then it was still copyrighted in the United Kingdom on 1 January 1996, and in that case it remains copyrighted in the United States for 95 years from publication.
