The result of the discussion was: keep, file is licensed under fair use, making it ineligible for deletion via this venue. It's currently tagged as orphaned, so it will likely be deleted in two days regardless. — ξxplicit 03:55, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Appears to be made by the author to represent an as-yet non-existent album cover, using copyrighted image as a template. No encyclopedic value, as it's not a real album cover. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 00:15, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Note: This image is currently tagged as non-free. If there is a dispute with the rationale, please tag the image with {{dfu}} or list it at WP:Non-free content review. AnomieBOT⚡ 01:01, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Appears to be a radio station logo; only use was on a page for a TV show (I have since removed it from that page, since it wasn't relevant to the subject). Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 00:46, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- As far as I can tell Hawaii does not have PD for government works Eeekster (talk) 02:23, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Copyright laws regarding local and state government published media vary from state to state and state to area. According to the www.hawaii.gov terms of use, the use of data on the website is prohibited if it is for commercial purposes or resold (data covering "information, material, documents, text, graphics, images, logos, and HTML programming format (including meta tags or the meta http-equivalent), and scripts"). Use on Wikipedia would not constitute commercial use. Perhaps the images aren't classified as "public domain" but another classification (perhaps fair use) would be more appropriate. Certainly not deletion, nonetheless (only with regards to the senate portraits). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ctoshw (talk • contribs) 04:33, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Permission statement conflicts with license tag and the source url does not contain the image. Neither statement can be verified. Eeekster (talk) 02:26, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Found source of the image. It was only a click away from where it was originally linked. Took all of 5 seconds. http://merlettipartners.com/aboutus.php . The picture is also obviously a US Government portrait of Lewis Merletti. A Google search for his name pulled more than a couple other instances of this picture being connected to him and his service with the Secret Service. Being that it is a US Government photo, it is in the public domain.Ctoshw (talk) 06:37, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Without a proper source indicating who created the image (U.S. government or a state government), it's impossible to tell if this image is under the public domain. If this is a work from a state government, it would have had to have been created by the California or Florida state government for this image to be under the public domain, but the current source doesn't help at all. — ξxplicit 03:55, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - I'm not sure. It's just a tick mark, but it does seem to be pretty original. I'm not sure, I'd need to check with someone. --Nathan2055talk - contribs 17:17, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
