- File:John Foust.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- The source for the picture is a county website, not a federal one. I see no evidence that this is a federal government work. RayTalk 05:49, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Any website which possess the domain name ".gov" is the work of the federal government; and the picture is taken from such a website. -BLM Platinum (talk) 05:54, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm afraid you're wrong on that one. Guidelines for registering a ".gov" domain only requires that the domain owner be a governmental entity inside the United States [1]. State and local governments are permitted; indeed, the bottom of the page linked as the source for this picture has "Official site of the County of Fairfax, Virginia, © Copyright 2010," making it pretty obvious this is the county's website. - Delete The image is of a person that is alive and, ergo, replaceable. ".gov" does not equate to Federal source in the US. — BQZip01 — talk 11:33, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Devil GIF.gif (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Found at http://www.animationfactory.com/en/search/close-up.html?oid=4940166&hoid=2b3ac903fa2cec906853a4f53c2dcdfb - license clearly invalid, probably nonfree. Zetawoof(ζ) 06:22, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Found a nearly identical GIF at http://www.animationfactory.com/en/search/close-up.html?&oid=4955231&hoid=da7327555c682d5b336edb99f3bb375a and the uploader's history doesn't lead me to assume good faith. Zetawoof(ζ) 06:22, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete: uploader claims image is PD in Iran but subject (born in 1961) would have been no more than 9 years old for this Iran copyright (1970) to be valid. The uploader does not provide a good source to check the date of publication and does not supply a date either. Without a way to check the copyright status this press agency image is likely still copyright. ww2censor (talk) 15:29, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete He actually would have had to be 19 (2010-30=1980...math in public isn't my strong suit either). The source claimed claims Copyright 2010. I see no reason to doubt the copyright claim. — BQZip01 — talk 20:31, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- While it does not really matter but no, he would have to be 9, having been born in 1961 and the copyright being for pre-1970 images, so a maximum of 9 years to be in the PD; he would have been 19 in 1980, which he obviously is not at the time of this image, 10 years after the Iran copyright law had come into effect. ww2censor (talk) 00:09, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Ah, pre-1970. That makes all the difference! Told you math in public wasn't a strong suit of mine... — BQZip01 — talk 01:01, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- The rationale states:
"The copyright owner has granted permission for the images to be used in the public domain. At the bottom it says "The images on this page are available in the public domain.""
But it doesn't appear to say this anywhere on the website. EuroPride (talk) 20:56, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
