Wikipedia:WikiProject Music Video Games

Project started in 2009 with 7 members. Almost no discussions. Nothing of substance to keep. July 2010 proposal to make into task force was apparently ignored. (Subpages: Wikipedia:WikiProject Music Video Games/Article alerts, Wikipedia:WikiProject Music Video Games/Article alerts/Archive, Wikipedia:WikiProject Music Video Games/navigation). --Kleinzach 03:20, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge with WP:VG, since WikiProject Video games is the largest project, and had failed attempt in July 2010, it might be time to be suited to turn into a task force of WP:VG, because WP:VG has almost has about 40 task forces. JJ98 (Talk) 06:30, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - died within a month of being created; if there's no interest in it there's no need to turn it into a deserted task force. --PresN 07:16, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - I usually like to move these to task forces (even inactive task forces) so that we can preserve history, but there appears to be no history to preserve. I'd like if the talk page was moved to a WT:VG subpage/archive, but again there is not much there so it's not a big deal. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 14:42, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect: My gut says to redirect this to WP:VG because there is just enough edit history in my opinion. The amount of inactivity, however, suggests that merging as a task force won't accomplish much. Also, we have a lot of inactive task forces already. Though I wouldn't stand in the way of deletion if that's where consensus goes. (Guyinblack25 talk 15:11, 25 March 2011 (UTC))[reply]
  • Comment Not enough history to warrant saving. Not enough interest to keep as a task force. The Guitar Hero series just got canned. That means there will be even less to cover in the future. I don't think it matters if its deleted or redirected, but it probably doesn't need to be task forced. Blake (Talk·Edits) 15:29, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge to task force of VG due to inactivity and general distinguishing features between task forces and wikiprojects. In comment to Blake, it should be noted that even though the big series is out of production, pundants are expecting dance games to take over, and there's continued karoake games being made and produced, so its not a dead genre - just shifted a bit. --MASEM (t) 19:33, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Abortive project, dragging its corpse under the VG project's banner and stamping "task force" on it won't make it get up and dance. The VG project remains the central hub of videogame related discussion and task-forces and sub-projects' participants invariably drain away to it, the Sqaure-Enix taskforce/project being an exception. Even task forces like retro games lie dormant, and it's not because nobody is interested in them. If anybody wants to improve music-game articles they can find help just as easily on the VG project. • Delete per Someone another. Changing the name from "WikiProject X" to "X Task Force" does absolutely nothing, so I don't see why so many people suggest it as an alternative to deletion. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 04:33, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. per nom. Inactive project. MoondogCoronation (talk) 18:13, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
