The result of the discussion was Keep (= withdrawn). This was a sort of procedural nomination, so my heart's not in it. Tagging historical is fine by me. — This, that, and the other (talk) 10:31, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

I agree; this is not needed anymore. It is so pragmatic in nature that there is nothing to be gained from tagging it with {{historical}}. — This, that, and the other (talk) 03:28, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Tag as historical – was once very useful indeed, so there's no need to delete it (i.e. make the former workaround inaccessible to non-admins). I wouldn't object to a merge to another page, either. Graham87 04:15, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- The workaround is in fact no longer needed, by admins or non-admins alike. — This, that, and the other (talk) 06:28, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Now tagged as historical. Possibly useful to keep. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:43, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
