Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by language
This list of Wikipedians is unmaintained, hopelessly incomplete, and wholly redundant to Category:Wikipedians by language. I see no reason to retain it. Black Falcon (Talk) 19:24, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
I am also nominating the following related pages:
- Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Surrealist Wikipedians (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) – borderline CSD G1; redundant to Category:Surrealist Wikipedians
- Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Punks (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) – redundant to Category:Wikipedians who listen to punk and Category:Punk Wikipedians
- Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Green users (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) – violates WP:NOT#SOAPBOX; redundant to Category:Wikipedians interested in environmentalism
- Wikipedia:Wikipedians by pet (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) – violates WP:NOT#SOCIALNET; redundant to Category:Wikipedians by pet
- Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by organization (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) – redundant to Category:Wikipedians by organization
- Delete all. When I looked at each of them all I could think is "why the heck?" — $PЯINGrαgђ 19:30, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete all per nom. All either redundant or useless. Hut 8.5 20:14, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- The language list is definitely useful, but is redundant to babel boxes and the associated categories. --BigDT 21:32, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete, redundant becaiuse of babel, way too hard to maintain.GreaterWikiholic 21:50, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per above—arf! 04:25, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- Keep 'Surrealist Wikipedians' page. This is as much a light-hearted attempt at humour as a serious attempt to provide a coherent list. (How could a Surrealist Wikipedians page have a wholly serious purpose?) Perhaps a {humor} tag and placement in the relevant category would suffice. Ben MacDui (Talk) 09:15, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete - Redundant to Babel, nonsense pages. --tennisman 14:55, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete as they are all unnecessarry due to either useless or redundancy. Acalamari 19:03, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Green--it seems to be used to provide information. Probably should eventually become a list for a wikiproject, though. DGG 04:13, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete We already have wikipedia babel and it really is not overly logical to have two things that serve the same purpose. For that reason, this should be deleted.--†Sir James Paul† 04:53, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete all For this application, categories are much more effective than lists. YechielMan 08:01, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete all, as unencyclopedic as the categories, which ought to be deleted as well. (Unfortunately, WP:ILIKEIT won out over WP:MYSPACE in that discussion.) —Angr 18:05, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- 'Delete all as redundant. — The Storm Surfer 03:05, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete all as unmaintainable and not belonging to an encyclopedia, you can use the userboxes for some of those 'facts'. GB 08:35, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
