The result of the discussion was keep--Aervanath (talk) 06:10, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An article draft for an album by a non-notable musician previously deleted through AfD. This users only contributions have been articles related to her and a band she is in; probably a COI. Ironholds (talk) 14:33, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Isn't it acceptable for users to use their userspace to work on potential articles, even ones that have been previously deleted from the mainspace? Regardless of COI, I see no problem with letting him/her work on the page and see what happens. (If it makes you happier, move it to a sandbox subpage of the userpage.) It is content that will never make it into an article, though. The COI point was just window dressing; COI is not and never should be a reason for deletion. Ironholds (talk) 18:49, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Allow the user a year to have a chance to achieve an article status, and then reconsider blanking rather than deleting. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:40, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A year? We're a work in progress and all that with no fixed time limit, but that seems an awfully long time for someone who has so far spent all their on wiki-time (read: nothing in almost a month) writing followups to articles deleted under CSD/AfD and seems to have rejected the attempts at normal communication sent his way. • Keep Per Raven1997. - Fastily (talk) 21:43, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
