This unused userbox promotes recolonization of parts of North Africa. Any attempt at promoting or defending colonialism is inflammatory and divisive for obvious reasons, and clearly unacceptable here. — Sundostund mppria (talk / contribs) 15:00, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - Recolonized by which empire (given the history of North Africa)? France? Turkey? Iraq? This rhetorical question illustrates that the idea is even more divisive than is obvious. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:59, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. I have few issues or concerns with defending past colonisation, from the perspective that it is document past human behaviours, and a historian may choose to adopt the mindset of a participant. However, advocating for future recolonisation is definitely unencylopedic. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:32, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I note that no one, not even the author, transcludes this template on a userpage. SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:35, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
