Promotional CV-like autobiography not suitable for Wikipedia. Has not been edited by the creator for over 5 years and clearly isn't a viable article. Wikipedia is not an indefinite web hosting service or personal website. MarchOfTheGreyhounds 12:31, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. It's a 5 year old, abandoned CV of a high school student (minor) at the time, who subsequently took a two year break, and has returned since then with very sporadic, but at first glance not-unproductive activity. I suspect he may well have completely forgotten his juvenalia. Or assumed sandboxes get silently periodically cleared, as they do on some platforms. In any case, I think we can happily delete it with little controversy, perhaps even as a courtesy since it does contain a lot of personal information the author might not, with the benefit of more life experience, actually want associated with his username anyway (hence the value in deleting rather just blanking with no fanfare). • Delete per nom. I really see no logic in permanently hosting material like this. — Sundostund mppria (talk / contribs) 22:36, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Part fake article and part resume. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:07, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. This does not actually seem to be an autobiography; it is not about Gerry Goertzen, but somebody else. See also the photo credits on the prom banquet picture and others, which also suggest that the author and subject are two different people. As such, the page is replete with BLP violations (unsourced negative statements about a living person), although it appears to be probably in the nature of friendly teasing by a friend or relative rather than cyberbullying. I considered speedying the page under BLP, but the MfD will close in three days anyway so I suppose we can wait for that long. I also note the first edit summary when the page was created, which suggests that the creator would not object to deletion at this late date. Newyorkbrad (talk) 00:15, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I had assumed Gerry Goertzen was an alias but apparently it's the name of the principal of this person's high school. If I'd realised, I would have placed a speedy tag. MarchOfTheGreyhounds 09:32, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
