User:DannyS712/MMS

Script that only exists to bypass the mass message sender user right. It allows any extended confirmed user to use the MMS system, which as you may expect, can be pretty disruptive. Interesting. WP:NAC suggests that discussions shouldn't be closed except by users capable of enacting the consensus, usually in the context of deletion discussions. stwalkerster is correct; regular administrators can delete code file pages in other editors' user space, but they cannot view the deleted history of those pages (even if they deleted them), nor can they restore them. My brain momentarily went through a "stupid" phase when I added my note above. Delete redundant to the Mass Message extension, which is better protected (so we don't get people spamming talk pages with barnstars, which has happened today). Delete - 30/500 is a lax standard and I (at a minimum) want a tallying with the AWB check-page, which can be done. Even then, it looks like intentionally bypassing user-rights. ∯WBG^converse 16:06, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - I was about to write that I would have to take the word of the nominators as to what the thing does, which does pose the potential for disruption.
