Requesting deletion as a Draft that is unlikely to ever be accepted as an article. I would have tagged it as G11, but I don't think it fits this case, so MfD it is. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:23, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • TBH, it's just a sandbox with three sentences. If it matters that much it could've been blanked or replaced with {{user sandbox}}. I don't see the necessity in bringing it to MfD only to wait a whole week for editors to comment which is a waste of editors' time. I mean what's the worst that's going to happen if this sandbox is not deleted? In what way is Wikipedia going to be harmed if an admin does not delete this? • Delete. If this had been submitted for approval at AfC I would have declined it as a non-notable musician, and would have left a message on the user's talk page to warn them about not creating autobiographies and not using Wikipedia for promotion. I would have tagged it for speedy deletion as WP:G11 which I think would have been accepted - the draft doesn't present the subject in a neutral way - it is clearly entirely promotional and if it were notable would have to be fundamentally rewritten. If not tagged as G11 I imagine the user would have left the draft go stale and it would be deleted as an abandoned draft. What I wouldn't have done is take it to MfD, which uses up valuable volunteer time. It does no real harm sitting around as a draft for six months. If we took every hopeless draft to MfD it would be swamped. The only time to bring it to MfD would be if the author persists in submitting it for review when it is a dead horse. • Delete it wouod never fail stale and make it to G13 because it is in userspace. Could be G11 or U5 or take to MfD. I would CSD it but the OP thought otherwise. Legacypac (talk) 19:40, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
