I nominated this article for deletion based on my critique from five months ago - which still holds true today. Thomas Binger is only known for the Rittenhouse Trial and outside that is not notable. He is a D.A. for Kenosha County but other than that he is not involved in anything else. The bulk of the article contains information that can be accessed from the article on the Kenosha Unrest Shooting. Binger's article also has not received any substantial updates since January 2022. Even then the most recent event noted in the article is, once again, the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. I see no reason to keep this article on Wikipedia and move to delete it.TJD2 (talk) 15:31, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Keep. First—on procedural grounds: this is not fit for Miscellany for deletion because it is an article. Second—on substantial grounds: Binger is not a WP:BLP1E, since he has been covered in the context of multiple events by independent reliable sources. While some editors (like the nominator) like to stretch BLP1E, there is no policy-based reason to do so. As such, the attempts at making policy-based arguments for deletion are completely erroneous and this should be speedily kept under WP:CSK#3. — Ⓜ️hawk10 (talk) 16:08, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
