Talk:Kim Hee-chul/GA1 (edit | subject | history | links | watch | logs)

IPs are nominating articles as GA and trying to review it. The reviewer is an IP and has no other contributions on Wikipedia. Unregistered users are not allowed to review articles per WP:GA/REV. Also, the review is empty. CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 14:14, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Keep the nomination or this empty review? Both are made by IPs that don't contribute to Wikipedia. I doubt they would follow up with this and fix issues pointed about the article for it to get a GA. CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 01:14, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Question - Obviously I don't understand Good Article nominations. I evidently didn't understand another frivolous Good Article nomination within the last few days. Are there two pages, a nomination and an empty review? Where and what are they? Robert McClenon (talk) 23:35, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Reviews should be like this Talk:Kim Jong-hyun (singer)/GA1, not just open a review and leave it empty for days. The main page we are discussing is the empty review Talk:Kim Hee-chul/GA1. The nomination box is here Talk:Kim Hee-chul, the first box on the page. CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 12:07, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Weak Keep and Comment - Okay. So the nomination consists of putting the {{GA nominee}} template at the top of the page. So your question is whether I am saying to keep the template or box at the top of the talk page of the article being nominated, or whether to keep the subpage that conains a header and should contain reviews, but doesn't contain reviews. Thank you. That is a useful explanation. Since this is a deletion forum, the question is whether to delete the subpage of a talk page. Weak Keep. There is also a question of whether to keep the box at the top of the article talk page. That box is history and is evidence that the unregistered editor was fiddling around. Weak Keep. @Robert McClenon: Unregistered users are not allowed to review articles per WP:GA/REV. It was already removed multiple of times before as IPs are not allowed to do GA reviews, only registered and logged-in editors. See here CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 18:24, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Then I have no opinion as to whether the improperly created review should be deleted, or kept as evidence of the improper editing. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:32, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
