Comment – As worded, a valid rationale for deletion is not present. There is nothing at Wikipedia:Portal/Guidelines regarding single-person portals. Could you please consider expanding the nomination to be more specific? North America¹⁰⁰⁰ 06:14, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A review of the archived debates will show we have deleted numerous single performer portals as well as single individual portals for all kinds of professions, often on the express basis it is a single person portal which gives it limited scope. We have kept very very few single person pages. Therefore no single person portals could be written into the guidelines and defended based on the MFD results, because we have found so many times that one person is not a broad scope. Delete - Yet another copy of the empty set. 13 subpages, created 2011-04-15 03:57:24 by User:AJona1992. Navigating between ONE article, ONE song, ONE picture, what a great Portal Guideline incarnation. And therefore, choosing this portal as the hill to die for seems surprising. Portal:Selena. Delete. An abandoned non-portal on a a narrow topic. With only one article, one song, and one picture, it's no use as either a showcase or a navigation tool. Per WP:PORTAL, "Portals serve as enhanced 'Main Pages' for specific broad subjects". ... but in this case the head article Selena and the two navboxes provide much better navigation and a better showcase. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 23:23, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
