  • Delete, no evidence that this will be expanded on anytime soon; started in April and abandoned. Besides, this thing is a mess. If this is to be a serious portal, it should be started again in a better manner than this. Grandmasterka 22:59, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - I've dropped a note about it at Wikipedia:WikiProject Florida. The topic is definitely broad enough to support a Portal (large and populous state, many major cities, significant historical events, famous figures, large Wikipedia community of interest), so I'd be inclined to vote "keep" if any stirrings of activity should arise within the duration of this MfD. • Ok, I'm making my vote an explicit strong keep now, and pledging to get the portal up to speed myself if no one else pitches in. BD2412 T 21:07, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
  • This appears to be an abondoned portal which never got started, and as such should be taken out of the Portal namespace. I agree with BD2412 that this could make a good portal, and it does look like a good faith effort. Is it possible to move this to a subpage of WikiProject Florida or somewhere else out of the way until somebody wants to reopen this thing? Sjakkalle (Check!) 06:16, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. There's no useful content there at the moment. It should be recreated at some point when someone has the time to look after it. --HughCharlesParker (talk - contribs) 09:27, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Flordia is a crucial area to have a portal on. Just because the quality is bad doesn't mean it should be deleted. As morfe editors see it, it will improve over time. Tobyk777 07:45, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as a part of a WikiProject. --Arnzy (whats up?) 12:55, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Large state, deserves a portal. Also apparently needs more editors willing and able to contribute, but "needs work" has never been a criteria for deletion. KillerChihuahua?!? 21:13, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
