What is the dispute?
This should explain, calmly and simply, what the problem is. Be precise. Saying general statements such as "User:X is has a POV regarding article Y" are generally unhelpful. Provide a view of the dispute in a calm, neutral manner, and provide diffs if possible, but try to keep the description brief. A list of issues that need to be addressed, such as this, would also help.
Part of the dispute is about whether there should be much if anything about preventing school violence in wikipedia at all. I have argued that since there is an enormous amount in wikipedia about school shootings and other violent events that there should be more about prevention. There is even a section about arming teachers implying that they should wait till the last minute and shoot the students at the last minute instead of trying to intervene earlier. This is what gotr my attention and led me to contribute to this issue in the first place. I din't call for deletion of this section instead I tried to put something more reasonable in there. Its been a while since my link from this page was deleted twice but I find it perplexing that instead of censoring the section about armed teachers (which I'm not recomending) the article about preventing school violence is not only be argued over but it is being targeted for deletion: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Preventing school violence
What would you like to change about this?
This section should explain what you'd like to be looked at, and what you'd like to be changed.
I would like to provide the best posible article about prevention possible and provide a link from every story about school violence to this article. This way people can have more hope that these things can be prevented. There has been some claim that wikipedia isn't here for this purpose but if wikipedia is going to report on all these violent events I think this claim is unjustified.

We are here to help you, but we need to know how. Sometimes mediators will look at a dispute and have no idea where to start, so please help us out. Please note that we will not take sides, as that is not our role.
It would help if there was someone weighing in on the article that didn't want to see it minimized or deleted. I find it quite perplexing that there is so much opposition not to the violence but to the prevention of violence.
