Unused collage, and I wonder about the copyright status of some of the files included here (chiefly the recent photos) Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:15, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Textbook WP:NFCC#8 violation. No prejudice to restoration if the article is significantly expanded to explicitly discuss this image in-depth. -FASTILY 22:28, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File:1961 slip n slide ad.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Editoneer (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This advertisement is licensed as public domain and also declared to be used as non-free content. It's either one or the other. The public domain claim of being published in the US between 1926 and 1963 without renewal of copyright but no evidence for this has been provided. Note that the advertisement does carry a copyright notice. The claim for use as non-free content fails WP:NFCC#8 as there is no significant sourced commentary about this advertisement. Whpq (talk) 17:27, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I apologize, I wronged some things and I'll just repair the mistakes. I considered it's okay to use the 1926-1963 license considering there's lack of any renewal of copyright regarding this advertisement, guessing this isn't proof enough, so I concede to that point. After the discussion is closed I will replace the license with Template:Non-free use rationale, as it's not renewable -- it's not even on Wham-O's official site -- and the other criteria matches and about WP:NFCC#8, there is, actually, significant sourced commentary, but I only put it on the Slip 'N Slide article (via file with caption) and I understand the confusion.

Now my last concern is, I'm observing that I didn't capitalize "Slip 'N Slide" properly and also the fact I didn't put an apostrophe in the title of the file, and yes, it matters. Thank you for your concerns and I once again apologize for the inconvenience, thank you for not flat out speedy deleting it. Editoneer (talk) 19:20, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Art installation of some sort, and possible derivative of non-free content. It's not entirely clear where this is installed (or if it's still there), which makes it difficult to assess FOP FASTILY 21:27, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
