This is a college logo that is asserted to be public domain because it is too simple for copyright. However, the logo includes a shield with multiple elements in it. Is this really simple enough to be copyright ineligible? I considered conversion to fair use but decided against this for two reasons. Firstly, this is a bad screenshot grab that includes elements outside of just the logo. A better version without extraneous material would be a better representation, and should be easy enough. Secondly, and more importantly, this does not appear to be the current logo of the college. In looking to get a better logo to replace this one, I went to their website and the logo is actually completely different from this one. Whpq (talk) 14:31, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image being used in World War I article with no significant sourced commentary about the image to satisfy WP:NFCC#8. The image itself is completely unnecessary to understand the topic of WWI. Whpq (talk) 18:27, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
