Keep File was used in the article Conspiracy theories of the United States presidential election, 2016 and was used to illustrate that article, namely, video clip was referenced by supporters of the "Healther" hoax. Nominator unilaterally deleted it from the article immediately prior to nominating it for deletion. The file is shown with its original sound, unlike "Healther" versions of the video which set it to ominous music; in the uploaded, unedited form it is significantly more rational appearing - this may be the reason the nominator wants it deleted, as it undermines the hoax / conspiracy theory.

Nom has recently attempted to delete this corresponding section that notes other videos cited by conspiracy theorists were edited to support the hoax. [1] Nom may be suffering from WP:NOTHERE.

File is a public domain file from C-SPAN that is looped twice, the second time in slow motion; no changes to source file have been made despite bizarre claim of "manipulation". Original caption, prior to being deleted by nominator was "A facial expression made by Clinton at the Democratic National Convention was cited as an indicator of a neurological disorder; the clip here is shown twice, the second time in slow motion to approximate the method of presentation used in online videos making the allegation." Comment I think C-SPAN does not allow commercial use of this video.[2] The general claim of PD in the page description here is too broad. I suspect "fair use" may not encompass manipulated videos. Thincat (talk) 07:45, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
