Birds-1 is a satellite constellation launched on a Falcon 9 and deployed from the Kibo module of the ISS. Japan helped students from four countries design and build satellites, the first satellite ever for many of the countries. Japan is continuing the program with Birds-2.

Meets criteria. TOKI was not included because it did not meet GNG; no articles were written about it and it was barely mentioned in most of them. This is because it is Japan's satellite in the constellation, and is not very notable for the country. I tried to write an article for it, but deleted it after I realized it did not meet GNG. Note: the image is representative of a cubesat launch from Kibo and is not of Birds-1 (no non-fair-use images exist) --Kees08 (Talk) 18:42, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
