Reason
Meets criteria 1, 3, 4 and 5. Is a very high quality (#1). Although image is small this is a technically difficult or otherwise unique image (#2), definitely among our best work (#3). It has a free license (#4) and adding it to articles adds significantly to their encyclopedic value (#5)

The colour-coding is explained in the caption in the article. For me, though, it is still a bit confusing. I don't immediately know which of the four (five?) blue/green colours is "aqua" or "teal", for example, and when I count the different colours in the image there seem to be more than the eight that are explained.
