- Speedy close. Lead does not conform to WP:LEAD, much of article is listy. Citation needed tags are present. Needs a lot of work. CloudNine 14:21, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- 1a) The prose is average if not poor in some places and does not attempt to be gender-neutral. Why is Kennedy referred to as "Jackie," "Mrs. Kennedy," "the president's wife" and "Jacqueline" throughout the article? She should be referred to as Kennedy or as Jackie/Jacqueline Kennedy if there is a need to distinguish her from another Kennedy. I agree with CloudNine that much of the article is listy as well.
- 1c) Next to nothing of this article is supported using reliable, scholarly sources. I am also concerned that the "Further Reading" only directs readers to popular history. There is much written on the Kennedy's by historians - the editors of the page should be using it. Submitting an article for FAC with "citation needed" tags peppered all over it is unacceptable.
- 1d) Some of the article verges on the hagiographic.
- 2a) The lead does not summarize the article.
- 3) The fair use rationales have not been laid out for all of the photos.
- This article could be brought up to FA standards, it just needs several months of work - a lot of research and rewriting. Awadewit 00:30, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose Lead is too short. Also I might have missed it because I didn't read the whole article but I didn't see anything about Delia Smith's infamous "let's be having you!" speech. Buc 09:38, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
