mynameinc (talk · contribs) I got my 500th edit and I wanted to know how I was doing on Wikipedia and if I was not doing well, how to improve my editing habits in order to do well in the future. mynameinc 21:11, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

  • Hey. Perhaps you should have better edit summaries. 'Remove that' isn't really very useful, for example but some are good. Whilst maintaining a wikistatus may seem cool, it's pretty useless and just clogs up your contribs. You've done quite well in a short period. You may wish to diversify and move into Wikipedia namespace. Perhaps contribute to a few AfDs so you can understand the decision making process. Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am particularly pleased with the articles I have created about East German Olympic swimmers, especially Wilfried Hartung, because I made the articles, even though they are stubs and start-class and could be improved. This, however, doesn't mean that I don't want other editors helping on the articles.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I don't feel that I have been in any conflicts with other editors, a few discussions. I feel that I was civil in the discussions. Regarding future discussions, I will try to (Try not. Do, or do not, there is no try.) remain civil.
