Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
I focus mainly on baseball articles anymore. I used to participate heavily with the Pro Westling project but as my interest shifted to baseball IRL, so did my editing. I'm particularly proud of myself for my work oon the baseball related templates that I've updated or made better, like {{Mlb playoffs navbox}} simply because they look better and function better for both editors and readers. At least, in my opinion.
  2. Have you been in editing disputes or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future? If you have never been in an editing dispute, explain how you would respond to one.
I joined Wikipedia back in '06 I believe and I was a hot-headed, opinionated 16-year-old person who wouldn't listen to others and it got me in to trouble. So much so that I was banned in August of '07. A status I held until June of 2011. So with that territory came a lot of stressful situations, none I particularly handed as I should have. However, during my banning I mentored by both User:3bulletproof16 and User:Fr33kman, and now I'm a much more open minded, peaceful editor than I was 6 years ago. If I were to meet this tress again, I would likely evaluate the situation and keep a cool head and be respectful and not snap.
  3. What do you want to get out of this editor review? Are you thinking of running for adminship? Would you like feedback on a specific area of your editing? Or would you just like a general review of your edits?
The point of this editor review is I hope to be an admin one day, it is my ultimate goal and would be a great triumph after being banned for so many years. I want to know what I can improve of myself as an editor to meet that goal.
  4. from starship.paint: CRRaysHead90, you've mentioned your contributions to baseball templates. How about articles, are there any articles where you have had significant contributions?
Unfortunately, no. I'm not to big on building an article past a stub. I mainly prefer minor edits.

Reviews

Speaking from experience as someone who had to change his ways after being on the Wiki "dark side" early on, I think you're well on the way to becoming a top flight Wikipedian...just keep doing what you're doing. Vjmlhds (talk) 17:36, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
