- Army and Air Force Exchange Service (history · last edit · rewrite) from http://www.aafes.com/about-exchange/exchange-quick-facts/. Copied text had replaced non-infringing text in September. TheGGoose (talk) 04:36, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:04, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

- List of World Heritage Sites in Southeast Asia (history · last edit · rewrite) and friends (this also includes everything in {{Lists of World Heritage Sites in Asia}}). Some of these articles freely admitted that their descriptions are mostly taken directly from the UNESCO site, but the disclaimer says we should write our own. Some of the other articles (e.g. List of World Heritage Sites in Thailand) don't admit to copying, but do it anyway. MER-C 08:22, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- Indonesia, Bangladesh and Thailand are cleaned; not sure about Philippines because there may be some backwards copying; the *stans, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Vietnam are all OK; Arab states needs to be cleaned. MER-C 10:36, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
- I'm listing these here (hatted, below) as the only way I can see of easily keeping track of which has been looked at or cleaned.

- Tourism in Serbia (history · last edit · rewrite) from http://www.eiat-conference.org/2008/novisad.html. I would not normally have listed this for such an obvious and recent copyvio. However, I just cannot convince myself that the initial version was original content. The user was indeffed for copyright violations in 2010, but as far as I can see there was never a CCI, which the number of notices on the user's talk page suggests might well have been necessary. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 14:44, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- You are right, Justlettersandnumbers. In such cases, what I do is look at the first change after the suspected infringement and search for original content. If we find it, we know that a backwardscopyvio could have occurred only in whatever window exists between the edit and the change. In this case, I find [1]. There was a three day window in 2006 when that could have been copied from Wikipedia. If we are unable to prove that they copied the content then, we must presume that we copied from them - and with a serial copyright infringer, this is far more likely. This article is of high importance to the project, so I'll alert them before processing it. Maybe somebody can rewrite it. In terms of a CCI, I'm going to have to leave that open as well until more time. :/ --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:13, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- I had a quick look, and have requested a CCI based on what I found. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 23:38, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
- I've made a tiny stub for this at Talk:Tourism in Serbia/Temp. I'm afraid I've not gone right through the page history to see if there's other rescuable content. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 14:08, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
- Viable rewrite proposed; rewrite on temp page can be used to replace problematic article. The stub I've made is not great, but – I submit – better than nothing. This day could then be closed. --Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:27, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Original version is not usable. Rewrite moved into place. MER-C 08:36, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
