SCV for 2012-08-20 Edit

Cut-and-paste move, no point fixing it since the same editor wrote both pages. Hut 8.5 19:56, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
  • Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli (history · last edit) from http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=2673116. This one may be a bit tricky to sort out. The plot summary in the Wikipedia article is currently the same as in the forum post I linked to. The Wikipedia article predates the forum post, but both of them have been continually updated since their respective creations, so there must have been continuous copying between them in one or both directions. However, it's important to note that the user responsible for adding the material to Wikipedia is a serial copyright violator who uses sockpuppet after sockpuppet to add infringing material to Wikipedia; it's therefore more likely that at least some (and probably most) of the Wikipedia text was still copied from the forum post. Or alternatively all of the material may ultimately come from a third source independent of the forum post. Psychonaut (talk) 20:04, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. Unfortunately, this contributor used copyrighted materials as the base of the article, which interspersed it throughout. I kept what seemed clearly original - spot-checking - and removed suspect content. Rev deleted because of repeated restoration of material by shifting IP. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:57, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Addressed above. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:39, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
