Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
Comment. Jamie Martin is definitely a copyright violation. That is, if SoapCentral did not copy from this Wikipedia entry. That site, with its character bios written by fans, has been known to copy from Wikipedia character biographies. But either way, this article shouldn't be deleted. It was just saved from deletion. Listing it here is just Gh87's way of trying to still get it deleted. He or she could have just as easily removed the plot summary; a check like this was not needed since anyone with eyes (or even one eye) can see that the plot summaries match. And that is all that should be removed -- the plot summary. 82.200.168.154 (talk) 00:54, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Gh87 tagged this article's plot summary as a possible copyright violation, but I don't see any copyright violation from looking at this article in comparison to the SoapCentral.com biography. Not to mention, one biography is written in present tense, while the latter is not. 82.200.168.154 (talk) 00:54, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. Both our site and their site have evolved over the years, but the storyline was a straightforward copyvio at the time the article was created. I have removed the material as derivative, but not revision deleted. You are very welcome to write a fresh summary that does not have derivative work concerns. I've asked interested editors at the talk page of the article to do so. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:52, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
