- LGBT parenting (history · last edit) Since I'm involved there, an independent administrator should address the copying of several paragraphs from http://www.glad.org/uploads/docs/cases/gill-v-office-of-personnel-management/2009-11-17-doma-aff-lamb.pdf Previously I [1] [2] found verbatim unquoted paragraphs from other sources. Perhaps someone uninvolved discuss this with User:Destinero who added those passages; he says he created most of the contents of that article. He reminds me of User:Gavin.collins approach to writing articles. I'm not willing to check every source for copy-paste myself, or to track down who added such paragraphs, but I see that some administrators do this on a regular basis. - I've addressed the concerns at the article's talk page and am relisting this one to allow time for conversation about this specific issue. When it comes back up, I would recommend a summary view to see if there are problems with other sources or in other articles. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:14, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. I ran this through the copyvio tool and didn't find any other issues. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:24, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

- Thom Mason (history · last edit) from http://www.ornl.gov/ornlhome/leadership/mason_bio.shtml and http://www.sns.gov/~q1v/. I restored this after deletion, on the author's assurance that these are PD US Government sites; but am posting here for expert confirmation of that. JohnCD (talk) 19:03, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that this is not PD based on the disclaimer on their website in which they indicate they are subcontracted by the government and release the content for non-commercial use only. :/ I've blanked and explained and will relist to allow the contributor an opportunity to address the issues. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:20, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

- Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. So far as I can tell, all the identified content has already been removed. I ran the whole article through several detectors and found only one massive reverse infringement, logged at the article's talk. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:13, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
