Extremely premature. Two teams who will play against each other in an official competition for the first time next month, that's it. Not a notable rivalry at the moment. Fram (talk) 16:25, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

- Delete, I am inclined to agree with the nomination that this is not a notable rivalry (indeed, it isn't even a rivalry, yet?). The article lists only trivia about each of the two teams and how they come to face each other but is not at all pertinent for what the article is meant to be representing. Unless I am mistaken, this is only a meeting in a knock-out competition rather than a league, so it may not even be recurring/frequent. Regardless, there is no indication of a rivalry and the sources do not support this assertion. Bungle (talk • contribs) 19:16, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

- Delete - the suggestion that a rivalry can exist between two teams who have never even played each other is arrant nonsense -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 21:03, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete - fully agree with nom, far too premature, 'rivalry' not reflected in sources. GiantSnowman 22:10, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete. No significance. No Great Shaker (talk) 23:33, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete If one of these teams get an MLS promotion, the other will contract as a market like Tulsa can't support two clubs. This is a 'rivalry' in the sense either team is fighting for survival rather than competitive terms. Nate • (chatter) 23:36, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
- As a newbie to Wikipedia editing/and Wikiprojects I have one question. I concur the page may be premature, but is there a way to recommend to the original author to include the idea on the pages of Tulsa Athletic and FC Tulsa? All of these recommendation seem to be based on "football" ideas of what it takes to make a rivalry/derby. Maybe it should be a section on the respective articles. Just a thought. - Delete made up rivalry, they've never played against each other, and so unsurprisingly no sources talk of the "Tulsa rivalry". Joseph2302 (talk) 09:00, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete per above, the article should be created after they actually play their first game. We shouldnt create articles on things that dont exist. Rlink2 (talk) 12:17, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
- It shouldn't be created after the first game, it should only be created at a future point in time when they've played lots of matches and reliable sources call it a rivalry. Joseph2302 (talk) 23:13, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete: In my opinion, no evidence of notability and lacks WP:SIGCOV. As such, the article should be deleted. GauchoDude (talk) 13:11, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete as a WP:GNG failure. Also that Tulsa Athletic page badly needs to be re-written. Jay eyem (talk) 23:10, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
