The existence of this article inhibits Search. There are 26 mentions of "threshold effect" in Enwiki, several not included on this page, and the use of Search is more likely to get the reader to where they want to be rather than landing on this page. • Comment I can't quite figure out what this should be, but I doubt it will work as a disambiguation. There are threshold effects in absolutely every branch of science, probably in every sub-sub-discipline; it's such a ubiquitous term that it will always have to be accompanied by a modifier.
