A possible hoax, as he is not mentioned as claimed in The Wealth and Biography of the Wealthy Citizens of the City of New York. My mistake. The book accessible in the external link is the 1845 edition, whereas he is supposedly in the 1855 one. However, simply being a wealthy businessman isn't sufficient to satisfy WP:BIO or WP:GNG. • Delete as, unfortunately, there aren't even the slightest good sources about him and my hefty searches (News, Books, browser, highbeam, thefreelibrary and Newspapers Archive) found nothing good aside from one link. • Delete: The article is a fact rather than an article, and a repetition of a single characterization from a "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" of centuries ago. The subject does not appear to have had any significant effect on history to generate contexts for discussion of his life, and thus he fails notability.
