The result was Speedy delete - this was blatant advertising, and the article had been deleted on these grounds recently.. Nick-D (talk) 09:38, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

non-notable per WP:CORP, no independent mentions, recently deleted as promotional Deunanknute (talk) 22:30, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is just an article about the website, they do have independent sources. There are tons of examples of other websites with wiki articles. I don't see any bias or anything harmful in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8:1A00:314:EDF4:A05A:E91C:9ED (talk) 02:31, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you delete this are you going to delete other articles about online video game communities like ToTheGame, Menéame, MemeStreams, GameTZ.com, GotFrag, and others because all of those articles could be seen as "promotional". Jerieth (talk) 02:34, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I would prefer you did not delete this article because I have used this site to trade video games before. The site is far from perfect, but it is free and the Admins are nice. I am new at Wikipedia editing, but I think there are enough references. AceDude105 (talk) 03:40, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I would argue that there a couple sources that show notability (whois and alexa rank), but I will try to find some additional sources. Do you have any suggestions or examples of a good verifiable independent source. Would a news site count? What about blogs or forums that are several years old?Jerieth (talk) 05:04, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please see the link I provided above (WP:CORP), and links on that page, for information on notability for companies. You need to provide articles/reviews or similar that are primarily about the company/website, that are not from independent (in no way connected to), reliable (not forums/blogs/comments sections) sources. Whois and Alexa are automated site data and provide no notability. Deunanknute (talk) 05:19, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
