Keep The organization, while it is on Chile, is still notable. Pichilemu may be a small city, but it is still one of the province capitals of Chile, specifically Cardenal Caro. The organization takes much importance specially in the summer days, when Pichilemu's population increase quickly to +100.000 people (Spanish: población flotante - floating population). Hope you to reconsider this article for deletion, also noting that an article for a small organization such as the Pichilemu Police does not do any harm by keeping it on Wikipedia. I don't think it is significant. The first sounds like a press release put out by Pichilemu police after the earthquake, and the second is run-of-the-mill local news how a family was saved by rapid police response. The reference in the "book" mentioned by Diego Grez is a one-line entry in a list in a Statistical Bulletin issued by the Chilean Chamber of Construction, giving the cost of replacing a police station – hardly the stuff that confers notability to an organization. --Lambiam 14:12, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Uhmm... it is the police force of a provincial town of 12,392 inhabitants, about as large as Wolverton. It is not the police force of Cardenal Caro Province, which has a whopping 41,160 inhabitants, according to the 2002 census. --Lambiam 14:34, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, so it's no bigger than Wolverton. It is still, as Mattwj2002 pointed out, a provincial capital. I think it should be kept. The size of the population to me, isn't an issue. Barking Fish 23:21, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
