No evidence of meeting WP:Notability (people). Created by WP:SPA over 6 years ago, and has been tagged for notability for over 6 years with no one establishing it. Boleyn (talk) 20:04, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - it isn't a "clear cut case of delete", given both that (1) the positions reportedly held are quite signficant in the charities sector (Chief Executive of the Motor Neurone Disease Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Macmillan Cancer Relief) and (2) he has a Who's Who entry [1] meaning that the independent professionals at Oxford University Press, whose job it is to judge notability (and therefore I suggest might know a little bit more about it than you do), have judged him notable. In the complete absence of arguments to the contrary (editors lazily tag notable people with notability tags all the time because they can't be bothered to do the research themselves or take it to AFD), this cannot be deleted. Comment Well done, User:Barney the barney barney, for adding the reliable sources. I missed the Who's who entry and wouldn't have nominated it if I had seen it. I change my vote to keep (I cannot withdraw my nomination as User:Why should I have a User Name? has voted delete). Boleyn (talk) 12:36, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
