Unnotable camera models, unencyclopedic for their own articles. Most are just advertisement and reiteration of instruction manual specs. Ejfetters (talk) 14:44, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - possible article of List of Panasonic camcorders could incorporate some of the information in the above mentioned articles, although this further article may well then end up getting deleted. Alistair 84 (talk) 15:08, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Wikipedia is not a catalog of gadgets. These article lack reliable and independent sources with significant coverage. They are sourced to the manufacturer, user groups, or non reliable sources like Wikis. It would be more encyclopedic to add to Panasonic (brand) general information about Panasonic digital or video cameras, covering when they entered the market, technologies used in successive generations of devices, market share, etc. referenced to independent reliable sources or just to their own site. That information is presently lacking in the Panasonic article. Just mirroring their catalog is not encyclopedic. Edison (talk) 16:07, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- merge as usual for individual models. We do want to provide information about this--major products are worth coverage, but not usually in individual articles. A proper articleon Panasonic's camera would include a list of all released products and their key features, but not their details. Iagree that just mirroring the catalog is wrong, but not that the only alternative is deletion. DGG ( talk ) 23:32, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I agree now, a chart with model numbers and key features is fine combines in one page. Ejfetters (talk) 06:34, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so consensus may be reached.

- Merge to a single article, perhaps List of Panasonic camcorders or Comparison of Panasonic camcorders or even just Panasonic camcorders. Compare Lumix. Thryduulf (talk)
- I created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Panasonic AG-HVX200 for Panasonic HVX-200, as it is a separate case then Panasonic AG-DVC7. --Jdjerich (talk) 16:28, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
