Subject is not newsworthy nor historic; every licensed author or employee of the studio doesn't warrant a page. This subject is no exception. ‎ Pablohidalgo1974 (talk) 4:09, 17 January 2023

  • Keep. Note: I created this article. Even if the nominator was really the subject (currently blocked per WP:REALNAME until this has been resolved), the subject is sufficiently notable to meet both WP:GNG and WP:BIO with multiple in-depth articles written in reliable sources devoted to his work. Yes, not every author and employee of a studio warrants a page. But this one does. Regards SoWhy 10:56, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Unsure if this AfD is legitimate given that the nominator is blocked, and either is the subject of the article or is impersonating the subject, but just in case: Hidalgo's involvement in the Star Wars franchise, especially around his reputation and influence, demonstrates notability. He's not some random employee of Lucasfilm as OP implied. — Czello 11:06, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Note: The block is only a precaution in case of impersonation and solely based on the username. It does not cast any aspersions on the nominator or invalidate the legitimacy of this AFD. Regards SoWhy 11:12, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The subject has multiple articles in different reliable sources about specifically them and their role in relation to one of the most well-known media franchises on the planet. And their role, given the breadth of the media across film, TV, books, games etc, is unarguably an important one. If there were less sources or they focused less on the subject, I could be tempted to vote delete based on subject request (if the identified subject made one) but as it stands they easily pass our (quite low bar really) for notability.
