Outline of the South Island

Copies information already found at South Island and other pages; appears to be nothing but a list of links. I can't see any CSD category that fits this. Article creator seems to be, in good faith, creating articles and uploading files relating to a fictitious country of "Zealandia", which is comprised of South Island. - That was a typo. The editor copied another outline as a starting point, and didn't place a {{construction}} tag on it. The Transhumanist 20:26, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  - I'm not concerned about a typo. Such outlines may be appropriate for countries, they may even be appropriate for states/provinces/regions, but although the outline creator might wish it to be, the South Island is not such a political entity.-gadfium 22:13, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- It's a work-in-progress - the editor barely had time to sneeze let alone add content to the outline. Looking around Wikipedia, I see enough coverage to warrant an outline. And since the South Island article needs cleaning up, an outline would be a great place to start. See reverse outlining. The Transhumanist 20:26, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Delete, this is overreaching by the Outlines WikiProject. An outline would need to be on a topic that is difficult to navigate. In this case, an island, I think an outline is redundant to the real article. 96.10.153.234 (talk) 10:34, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Move to user sandbox - the creator is obviously tinkering. No harm in letting him continue his experiment if he wants, out of the main namespace. In the future, feel free to simply move drafts like this to WP:WPOOK's draft space (by renaming it to Wikipedia:WikiProject Outline of knowledge/Drafts/Outline of ______) and we'll be happy to join in on the tinkering to see if we can make it work. One reason was in error, one was about a typo, and the rest were for the most part arguments to avoid in deletion discussions, critiquing a few minutes editng that was done to the article at most. Userfying is a possibility to consider. If it can help this editor navigate through the listed articles, or tell him which ones are still missing which he wants to create, then isn't that one of the things user subpages are for?
