This is a language from Tolkien that didn't even make it into the final draft. While the draft history of Tolkien's works is very interesting, and may even be documented enough for an article, we don't need to have article about all of the ideas he had in drafts and later dropped. Typing in the name of this language into Google Scholar with the diacritic on top brings up exactly two hits: a scholarship thesis and a master's thesis. Comprehensive GNG fail. - Merge to
Languages constructed by J. R. R. TolkienElvish languages (Middle-earth) where there is a mention of this but which could use a better historical treatment. Mangoe (talk) 18:04, 24 January 2020 (UTC)- It is only mentioned in the see also section. ―Susmuffin Talk 03:55, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- It is mentioned in Languages constructed by J. R. R. Tolkien. Goustien (talk) 17:44, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Merge, but I think Elvish languages (Middle-earth) is a more suitably specific merge target. BenKuykendall (talk) 22:08, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
- Agree and have changed my response accordingly. Mangoe (talk) 22:18, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete There is nothing to merge, as this article contains no useful content. ―Susmuffin Talk 03:55, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- Unsourced, so merge is not appropriate. Could be redirected to Elvish languages (Middle-earth) if a sourced mention of this language is added, else delete. buidhe 15:53, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per nom.--Jack Upland (talk) 22:27, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
- Delete True, Tolkien was a philosopgist, and so he cared about things like language family, but we have no reason to keep an article on a fictional language family not mentioned in actual publiscation, and actually dropped before publication.John Pack Lambert (talk) 13:54, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
- Redirect to Lhammas, which apparently is where Tolkien conceived the idea, which he later abandoned. Cf. Melkian. Goustien (talk) 18:04, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Redirect to Lhammas per Goustien. – sgeureka t•c 09:04, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
