Looking back on this page two years later, it doesn't seem to meet WP:NEVENT, especially WP:LASTING. I would try to merge it somewhere, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious place - 2013 Korean crisis, which this was pretty much a part of, has already been merged to 2013 in North Korea, but that article only covers activity on the Korean peninsula. ansh666 03:50, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks for pointing out that there was an article for the ship. Merging there makes sense. ansh666 12:22, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

- Merge to the article about the ship in question: Chong Chon Gang. This article fails WP:NEVENT, although it hasn't been the only North Korean ship to be seized abroad. The trend should be discussed in the article North Korea's illicit activities as a whole instead of fork articles like this. Finnusertop (talk | guestbook | contribs) 09:34, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- Merge to Chong Chon Gang, as explained by Finnusertop - the event itself is only notable as part of the ship's history. - The Bushranger One ping only 11:52, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- Merge to Chong Chon Gang. No need for a separate article. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:50, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- Merge to Chong Chon Gang - Seems better to merge than delete. (I was gonna close as such but I have a feeling some "genius" would revert so just gonna !vote)/ –Davey2010Talk 21:30, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
