Non-notable person. Autobiography. Google returns 79 hits with little direct coverage. Besides self-published works (one of which is given with no title and an ISBN that leads nowhere), the references in the article include a broken link (the Henderson one), a person who in an off-line source apparently called him a "genius", an article in a local newspaper from near his high school hometown (Belleville is near Collinsville) about a play of his that was being put on locally, and a vanity listing in Who's Who Among American High School Students. Delete - In my own search, I thought I had found some coverage, but as the navigation trail shows ("Home / News / Press Releases / Arts & Entertainment"), it's a press release. -- Whpq (talk) 16:04, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The user isn't Mark David Major? Unless her initials are also MDM and her last name is also Major, then she's pretty much impersonating him, and it's kind of surprising that when I tagged the article as an autobiography and left her a notice about that, she saw no reason to explain that it isn't an autobiography. —Largo Plazo (talk) 21:07, 5 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Wow, massive promotional and seemingly autobiographical (whether he posted it himself or not) article on a non-notable person. Unless some abundant external independent reliable major notability is demonstrated pronto, then my !vote remains Delete. (BTW, I agree with Why should I have a User Name? that Gattavolgio appears to be the party himself, and only created his account to make the one comment above.) Delete - with all apologies to Mr. Major, he appears to be run of the mill from the sourcing - Who's Who Amongst High Schoolers and the Local Newsweekly? I'd be willing to change my mind if the sourcing were both independent and reliable as well as being significant and more than mere passing. Bearian (talk) 19:13, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Addendum I discovered that the first of the works cited to support the claim that Major has been called a "genius" has more than the one author originally listed. In fact, it's actually by him. The author he referenced, Tena L. Griffin, cowrote the preface. So the person calling him a genius is a collaborator of his.
