Non-notable individual who lives in Gibraltar who happens to have founded her own party which is now defunct, been a co-ordinater for friends of the earth locally in Gibraltar and has stood for the European Parliament in 2004 and is planning on standing in 2014. None of these activities on their own or taken together establish notability for this individual and Wikipeida is not collection of every person in someway involved in politics. Comment: She's now a LibDem candidate for the Southwest region of the UK and Gibraltar for the forthcoming European elections[1], if that changes anything. --Gibmetal 77^{talk 2 me} 12:56, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Reply a little bit but not much. She's 6th LibDem candidate, meaning in effect that the South-West would have to vote in 6 lib dems and none from any other parties. This is extremely unlikely given that the LibDems have since 1999 had 1 MEP from this region. The LibDems will be banking on 1 seat and hoping to pick up another, but 6 is asking for loyal tory voters to not vote or swing to the left which they won't do (although many might vote for UKIP). Comment - Occupying the last spot on a European Parliamentary Regional Election list does not change things one dot, if she becomes an MEP then that changes things. Also now that she is a Liberal Democrats is meaningless in this context. Sport and politics (talk) 14:22, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Delete per WP:POLITICIAN. Political candidates are NN until elected. The chacnces of the LibDems getting more than a couple of seats in this constituency in next May's election are minimal; accordingly so are her chances of getting elected. Peterkingiron (talk) 18:10, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - She could still be notable even as an unelected politician, per point 3 of wp: politician. But I don't see any secondary coverage of her at all, and a quick Google search didn't turn up any secondary coverage of her. She is perhaps notable for founding the Gibraltar Reform Party, but the article on that party can cover her contributions in that regard (and perhaps could also have a note saying that the founder of the party later joined the Liberal Democrats.
