Topos show an isolated railroad point with no real development there. Meanwhile, Carlson evidently calls it a railroad station, and the newspapers.com hits don't appear relevant. Only Gbooks references are stuff like this for a vague railroad point. I don't think WP:GEOLAND or WP:GNG are met here. Hog Farm Bacon 04:22, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

- Delete or Redirect Similarly, I can't find any reliable secondary sources describing the this topic in any detail (results from the weather network don't count towards notability, naturally). The only thing that seems to be going on there is a lot of truck stop activity [1]. Satelite imagery also shows that the site is simply a road, next to a reservoir/pond. At any rate, we can't use these sources for any kind of article salvaging since that would be wp:OR. BrxBrx(talk)(please reply with {{SUBST:re|BrxBrx}}) 06:30, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
DeleteRedirect to Carson and Colorado Railway. As per my edits to Talk:Lux, Nevada: "Lux is probably not notable. Carlson states that it was a non-agency station. Gamett and Paher do not list Lux as having a post office. Lux is not listed in http://ghosttowns.com. Searching newspapers.com only finds mentions of Mr. Lux, for whom the station was named and railroad references." Lux, Nevada was a station, see WP:STATION. For details about Charles Lux, see Henry Miller (rancher). As Lux, Nevada has no legal recognition and no non-trivial coverage, it meets neither #1 nor #2 of WP:GEOLAND. - Good point, I'm changing my delete to Redirect. Cxbrx (talk) 17:56, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
- Agree that's a good idea, I'd support a redirect as well. If I'd thought of that earlier, that would have saved us a discussion. Hog Farm Bacon 19:43, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not opposed to a redirect, come to think of it. BrxBrx(talk)(please reply with {{SUBST:re|BrxBrx}}) 03:37, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
