The result was merge to Tokyo subway sarin attack#Main perpetrators. Roughly, people agree that Kitamura is notable in the context of the attack. There is some disagreement whether WP:1E applies here, but there is a suitable merge target which will generally allow the content to be preserved. Eddie891 Talk Work 13:28, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

Delete per WP:1E. The subject was one of the minor accomplices in the Tokyo subway sarin attack and is mentioned in that article. Otherwise he has no lasting significance or coverage. Yoninah (talk) 15:44, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

- Delete, further articles about Aum members are submitted to drafts. --CoryGlee (talk) 16:23, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
- I think an ideal situation would be to merge/redirect to an article which listed the people who committed the attack, i.e. List of Tokyo subway sarin attack perpetrators. (t · c) buidhe 20:58, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
- Perhaps, yup, but some like Kenichi Hirose and Ikuo Hayashi have their own articles. I made the comparison elsewhere about the Manson family members having all their own articles. Some Aum members (not particularly Kitamura) deserve an article for playing key role in the developing of sarin attacks over the years. Cheers! ^_^ --CoryGlee (talk) 21:17, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

- @Bearian: this is a discussion of whether the article satisfies Wikipedia criteria, not whether the subject is well-known. Yoninah (talk) 11:36, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
- It appears that he satisfies WP:SIGCOV. He was a crucial part of a notable conspiracy, thus WP:BLP1E doesn't apply. Bearian (talk) 11:39, 14 September 2020 (UTC)

- Delete: This person is WP:1E. They played a reprehensible but minor role in a major (horrible) event "When the role played by an individual in the event is less significant, an independent article may not be needed, and a redirect is appropriate." and "The general rule is to cover the event, not the person." // Timothy :: talk 07:22, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- Delete: While he did play a role in a horrific event that claimed 12 lives, I doubt being a getaway driver for one of the perpretators warrant a separate Wikipedia page. I’d redirect the article to the Tokyo subway sarin attack. — Coastaline (talk) 07:53, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Redirect and merge to Tokyo subway sarin attack#Main perpetrators, perhaps under the subsection "Kenichi Hirose" (as he was Hirose's gateway driver). All the coverage I found involve mentioning his role in the event. Given his role is less significant than that of the main perpetrators of the horrible attack, a standalone article is probably unncessary per WP:1E. --Dps04 (talk) 10:59, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
