Cass was a low level person in the American Revolution. He was involved in the state level organization of a veterans group. He received passing mention in some local histories. None of this comes close to rising to the level of notability. The fact that he had a son who served in the US cabinet and was a major party nominee for president does not make Cass notable, and nothing else does either.
