Non-notable artist. The only citation given is the artist's own website, and no web searches can find any better references. Only listings at the expected art print vendors. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:42, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Dietz work in Military Museums
Please keep this article. It is a stub created as part of the Pritzker GLAM project. Dietz has over 40 works in the collections at the Pritzker. His work is also represented in numerous military museums across the U.S. See his entry at AskART.com for more details. TeriEmbrey (talk) 19:02, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Reliable sources will be needed to verify these claims. If verified, they would pass the criteria for WP:ARTIST. I am not aware of the status of askArt.com as a reliable source. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:20, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the description on AskART from their site: "AskART is an online database containing over 250,000 artists. From its inception the focus was on American artists from the early 16th-Century through the present. However, in January of 2007 the database expanded to include international artists' auction records."([1]) It is a subscription database used by museums and academic libraries. - Keep. Book searches were more successful in this case. Given that there is an entire book dedicated to his artwork, I think notability is fairly clear here. Information about being an award-winning artist is substantiated in this magazine and more of his artwork is discussed in this book. I, JethroBT drop me a line 19:51, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Withdrawn. Thanks to JethroBT for finding this book source. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:23, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
