Delete. People do not get articles just for being still-unelected candidates in future elections — he has to win the seat, not just run for it, to be deemed notable as a politician — but there's no claim of preexisting notability for other reasons present here at all. Obviously no prejudice against recreation on or after March 17 if he wins, but he's not entitled to keep a campaign brochure on here in the meantime. Bearcat (talk) 17:23, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete unless more material is found to show academic or business notability, without prejudice to undeletion if he happens to win the seat of Waite. One of the profile pages I found (I tried to improve the article) suggests he has three commercialised patents, but I didn't find what they are.
