Yes, the source for the national award is a local source, since the event was held in Nashville, TN. But the station (national radio station WBUZ (102.9 FM, "The Buzz") is broadcasted nation wide. It meets the notability requirements.

Delete. Can find no coverage from a WP:RS, WBUZ (FM) is a local Nashville (actually LaVergne) station, it can be heard over the internet nationwide but so can just about any station. Can find nothing else that would support WP:BAND. J04n(talk page) 01:26, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- WP:BAND criteria #11 and #12 specifically state "Has been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio network" and "Has been the subject of a half hour or longer broadcast across a national radio or TV network."
