Comment: Yes, the current article is poorly sourced, but regular searches found this filmmaker spoken of in The Hindu, Economic and Political Weekly, Hindu Bussiness Line, a few books and Google scholar mentions and, per Indian English Newspaper Custom Search Engine found at WP:INDAFD, Daljit Ami looks to meet WP:BIO. @MichaelQSchmidt: you are quite experienced at least more than me on Wikipedia, but the ULRs that you have mentioned above does not have significant coverage. You have mentioned above that this filmmaker spoken of ..., but I am unable to find even a single line about him at Economic & Political Weekly except under the images captions. STRONG Keep per meeting WP:Notability (people) Needs work, not deletion. Note: @Cutest Penguin: looking beyond negative results, I also offered searches through Indian English Newspaper Custom Search Engine found at WP:INDAFD, a very handy tool as proper part of WP:BEFORE for Indian topics for those who actually use it. I easily found he and his film-work philosophy discussed in Tribune India [1][2][3][4] and The Hindu[5][6] and Hindustan Times [7] and Times of India [8] and further, his background is verified in Tribune India[9] and Business Line [10] and his work as a journalist represented in Outlook India [11][12] (and there are many more) The man meets WP:BIO through WP:CREATIVE. In the future, I would suggest a deeper search or your requesting assistance from others before nominating Indian films or filmmakers for deletion. Note: Without responding to my keep above, the nominator has instead just tagged the article for copyvio he asserts of some portions of tutorgigpedia, yatedo.fr and nyanglish.com My question is just which portions are asserted as copyvio, and why can't they simply be removed for this notable person? Comment - There is copyright violation on the article. I am surprised to see that that admin, @MichaelQSchmidt: did a lot of online research in finding several references (what if some of them not working even) and I appreciate him for this act but in other hand he failed to notice copyvio. Response: Badly written and in need of better sourcing yes, but NO copyvio. Shame on you for claiming it is or accusing me of not. Are you unaware that sources outside Wikipedia often use us as a source? You claim the information in tutorgigpedia is a copyvio, when if you actually looked you would see THEY copied from us. Worse, yatedo.fr is a malware site in French and nyanglish.com's did a check of the phrase "known for his activism" showing it also taking from Wikipedia, not the other way round. Update: What was first nominated was a poorly sourced 964 characters (147 words) article. With issues addressed, the article is now at 3151 characters (505 words). A 3x expansion with far better sourcing than what was brought to my attention. I would hope the nominator and any who visit this discussion and the article agree with me that WP:PEOPLE is met through WP:BASIC and WP:CREATIVE ( See WP:NRVE ). So folks... WP:HEY? WP:OUTCOMES?
