The result was No consensus. Considering that the nomination was grounded in concerns about the article's sourcing, and a number of new sources have been added during the debate, the discussion does tend towards "keep", but it would be overreaching to say there was a real "keep" consensus here.—S Marshall T/C 19:05, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Dabangg - there are only two films in which the charcter appears,not notable enough for an independant article, & as noted the article is nothing but plot summaries. It is also effectily unsourced.TheLongTone (talk) 14:56, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Keep this BRAND NEW article and encourage the new article be improved, per WP:WIP, WP:IMPERFECT, WP:SOFIXIT... and WP:NFICT and the numerous available sources discussing and analyzing the chracter. A five minute search quickly found such as IBN Indian Express Bollywood Life The HIndu First Post Zee News NDTV (1) NDTV (2) NDTV (3) (and more) showing the character is spoken of quite a bit... and there are real-world considerations. The character is considered an inspiration by other actorssee Deccan Chronicle is to become a video game character see News Vala is being emulated in other films and by other actors see Times of IndiaDNA& ApunkaChoice, and even has a cult/fan following. I was prepared to opine a delete.... until my searches revealed how often this character is spoken of and analyzed directly and in detail in multiple reliable sources. If he were a real person, notability would not be in doubt. The topic needs expansion and use of available sources... IE: editorial attention, not deletion. Keep and improve - Upon a source review of those provided by User:MichaelQSchmidt above, the topic passes WP:GNG.
